Can Russia Become A Democracy Through Food?

According to a new study How Food Affects Political Regimes, the more protein-rich, high-quality foods appear in a society's diet, the higher the likelihood of democratic reforms.

Over the past year we have heard lots of talk about forming a stronger bond with our nemesis Russia to better control world stability, and how their government hacked various governmental and personal email accounts – and how for the most part we have felt helpless. That might just change as a new study published in Science Daily, How Food Affects Political Regimes and presented at the World Association for Public Opinion Research in Moscow mid-September, might give us a clue just how to combat these threats in an even more powerful and long term way.
